As a Vice President & Partner at
S.E. Minor & Company, Mark Heller is the Senior Environmental Analyst
supervising a staff of professionals that assist landowners in developing
their parcels, both in residential and commercial areas. In addition to
dealing with federal, state and local governmental reviewing agencies
with regards to environmental permits, he also delivers projects presentations
before regulatory boards & agencies on behalf of commercial and residential
clients.
Before joining S.E. Minor & Company, Mark was an independent consultant for various organizations including the Quality Environmental Planning Corporation (Pleasantville, NY) where he was involved in all phases in the preparation of an environmental impact statement determining feasibility of corporate headquarter locations and market area development. Prior to these engagements, Mr. Heller performed as a aquatic biologist at Envirosphere (New York, NY), Lawler, Matusky, and Skelly Engineers (New York, NY), and Albertson, Sharp, and Backus Engineers based in Connecticut. His accomplishments at these companies included preparing environmental impact statements describing the effects upon indigenous aquatic communities from the operation of coal, nuclear, and gas power facilities. Mr. Heller graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Ithaca College in 1973, and a Master of Sciences in Aquatic Marine Sciences from the Long Island University in 1977. He also did additional graduate studies at the University of Connecticut. Mark Heller is a longtime resident of Southwestern Connecticut. |
